Campus Wellness Committee
Mission
The University of Texas at Dallas Campus Wellness Committee aims to meet the wellness needs and interests of the campus community by providing comprehensive and accessible wellness programs, services and facilities to the University’s students, staff and faculty. We aim at creating environments and opportunities that promote physical fitness, healthy habits and balanced behaviors to improve the overall wellness of the UT Dallas community through innovative programs, partnerships with wellness-focused organizations, and through the support of individual and group leaders. In fulfilling this mission, we support and complement the University’s vision and mission and make significant contributions to the University’s culture of excellence.
Purpose
The purpose of the Wellness Committee is to create a culture that promotes the value of individual and campus well-being through education and provision of appropriate physical facilities. The committee helps implement the UT System wellness goals on the UT Dallas campus and provides additional programs, tools and resources to build a culture of health. We focus on all components of our wellness program: emotion, intellectual, environmental, financial, health, nutrition, physical and social.
