The University of Texas at Dallas Campus Wellness Committee serves students, faculty and staff as a resource for any concern regarding health and wellness within the campus and focuses on eight key areas of wellness: health, nutrition, physical, emotional, intellectual, social, environmental and financial. We have provided the list of resources below related to multiple areas of health and wellness, and encourage the UT Dallas community to incorporate health and wellness activities into their daily schedules. Homecoming Virtual 5K
We invite alumni, parents, students, and their families around the world to participate by running or walking a 5K in their communities to promote wellness and celebrate the spirit of UTD’s Homecoming. We encourage you to join fellow Healthy Comets virtually, and complete your 5K with us on Pi Day! But don’t worry…you can complete it on your own schedule, anytime during the month of March.

As we continue to adjust to remote work, Watercooler Wednesdays offer the UT Dallas committee an opportunity to connect with peers and participate in a brief (10-15 minutes) wellness activity. Wellness activities are offered under the following monthly schedule:

- The websites listed below are online posting boards that help families find a nanny or babysitter independent of a placement agency. These sites allow parents to place an advertisement for a caregiver or browse the resumes of nannies and babysitters who are looking for a child care position. Please note that there may be fees associated with these services and that parents are responsible for checking references. Some sites partner with background check agencies, and services are available for an additional fee.
